This is session they recorded in 1998 for KFJC-FM radio station. Noisy improvisations. Sometimes blunder but for most time interesting.

Drum Freaks is project of Milo Kurtis from Osjan. He also played with Maanam, Brygada kryzys, Voo Voo, Izrael. Music is similar to Osjan. The music of Drum Freaks has Deep Roots. A Greek from Warsaw and Jamaican from London takes us on a journey, which encompasses both Tibet and South America, India and Australia, and on the way they let us peek through the doors of forgotten temples and side-road inns.
"Smyrna" was recorded live at St. John's Church in Gdansk. It's colaboration between Drum freaks and didgeridoo player Wallis Buchanan.

Don't Panic, We're From Poland!!! part 13 - Osjan
This blog was visited by over 5000 persons. I hope you found some interesting music here. And remember - You can always leave your comments. On the bottom of the page is a map with location of visitors. I'm most proud of this little dot in Gulf of Guinea (Fernando Poo maybe?).
Osian (sometimes Ossian) is most fascinating band I ever heard. This project was established in early seventies by Jacek Ostaszewski and Marek Jackowski, members of polish band Anawa. Osjan's music is mixture of ethnic music and free jazz. Improvised sounds played on acoustic, ethnic instruments from around the world. Truly unique band.
This is concert was recorded in 1980. line-up: Jacek Ostaszewski, Wojciech Waglewski, Radosław Nowakowski, Milo Kurtis.

Don't Panic, We're From Poland!!! part 11 - Apteka

I'm lazy bastard, but today i have something special.
Apteka is excellent polish band from Gdynia. They plays very energetic psychedelic punk. Lyrics are mostly obscene and cynical with very special sense of humour.
Band was formed in 1982. Or 1983. Or 1986. Kodym - band's leader don't remember such things.
"Menda" is their best album. Still psychedelic but with heavier sound and great riffs. Highly recommended.
