Big Black was formed by Steve Albini in 1982. They played abrasive post punk/noise rock. Band was infamous for Albini's offensive lyrics, violent, metallic sound and usage of drum machine. Big Black recorded two great albums: "Atomizer" (1986) and "Songs About Fucking" (1987) and also many EP and singles. Band split-up in 1987.
