What can i say about this? Compilation of early eighties underground bands from Poland. Released in 1985. Mostly punk (Prowokacja, Siekiera, Abaddon, Dezerter), but also new wave (Tilt, Kryzys), reggae (Izrael, Bakszysz, Kultura) and some ethnic stuff (Rio Ras, Józef Broda).V/A "Fala" [1985]

Kultowa płyta, jeden z najważniejszych dokumentów w dziejach polskiego undergroundu. Nie słuchałem od wieków i swoją drogą ciekawe gdzie podziewa się teraz mój winyl...

Bless you for uploading this, I found your blog quite by accident a while ago and went on a downloading binge - just had to come back and say this is one of the best. I was born and raised in England but all of my grandparents bar one were Polish and I grew up eating bigos voraciously etc, so obviously I'm very curious about the music scenes of the homeland.
'Fala' is just amazing, some world-class hardcore punk and reggae, so much energy. Has it been reissued on CD? I'm desperate to get this in good sound quality.. My other favourite Polish records are: 'Nowa Aleksandria', 'Klaus Mitffoch' and 'Nowe Sytuacje' by Republika. januscz x

Sadly "Fala" never was reissued on CD. But You can find this compilation also on THIS BLOG. File is bigger (56MB)so quality could be a little better.
