Don't Panic, We're From Poland!!! part 96 - Dezerter

After their firt EP (1983) communist authorities decide that Dezerter can't record or release anything. Dezerter recordings were smuggled (by Joey "Shithead" Keithley from D.O.A.) into USA and released by Maximum Rock'n'Roll.
This album is compilation of various band's efforts: first EP, live recordings from Jarocin festival and "pirate" session (they recorded without permission few songs in one take "live in studion").

ah yes, very nice, Dezerter are one of the greatest polsk-punk bands. I'll be taking this!!
And my friend, since you are a connoisseur of punk, you might be interested in THE STALIN! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGyDr39VpTA
They mainly just sound like a Clash rip-off but they have got some very angry, almost Baltic-sounding songs...
Keep up the good work on this blog, it's important!
