The Immaculate Consumptive 30.10.1983 New York

The Immaculate Consumptive was ephemeric project by Lydia Lunch, Jim "Foetus" Thirlwell, Marc Almond and Nick Cave. They played only 3 gigs. This one was scheduled for 28.10. but later moved to 30.10. Backing tracks were prerecorded by Nick Cave, Blixa Bargeld, Mick Harvey, Barry Adamson and Annie Hogan.
Cave was supposed to perform one more song: "A Box For Black Paul" but during "Halo Flamin' Lead" Foetus played piano with feet and destroyed it.
Sound is hissy but listenable.

Can't get part two to download at all... any suggestions?

Try later - I have checked links and they are all working fine.

The links work fine, but the downloaded files won't expand... I keep getting a 'damaged' message. Part One worked fine... two is killing me...

I downloaded part two from 3 diffrent mirors and worked fine but part one from Gazup is broken (20,17MB instead of 95,78MB). Maybe this was problem? I gonna reupload it, or you can download from Sharebee. If this won't help I will try something else.

Many Thanks Azbest, i remember reading that NME article (boy that was a LONG time ago). I was a birthday party fanatic and was really excited at the fact that Nick Cave did a cover of "In the Ghetto". It was a really good single but i lost total interest in nick cave after that. I have never heard this version so I am excited all over again.
By the way the links worked fine.
Cheers gclot

I saw the Consumptive at the 9:30 Club in DC (the night before the NYC gig?). I have bad photos somewhere if I can find them.

Just barely heard of this, and I'm a big fan of 3 of the 4... Never got into Lydia Lunch at all.

Know anywhere to get it now?
